Last week, I had the privilege of attending the Pratistha function of Neminath Bhagwan at Neimijin Tirth in Dwarka, Gujarat. The temple, designed like a Pushpak Viman, is dedicated to the twenty-second Tirthankara of Jainism, Neminath Bhagwan. The three-day event included Archarya padvi ( Acharya Padvi refers to the rank or position of the head of a monastic order) , three Dikshas, and the Pratistha of the idol of Neminath Bhagwan in the temple. LALITRATNA & DEEPTIRATNA MAHARAJSAHEB The event started with a play depicting the life of Neminath Bhagwan, where his parents and other characters were involved. The play was a beautiful representation of the King's life, who later renounced his kingdom and became a monk to attain enlightenment.
